I'm curious about the grammar and translation of: "...e tomo kon. sewi pi tomo li lon sewi kon. (Page 9)"
I'm assuming it's goal was roughly "...[let's build] a gas building (tower/spaceship). The top of the tower being in the heavens/space".
I'm new to toki pona so correct me if I'm misguided!! Isn't 'pi' redundant if the group you're separating is only a head word? Or was 'tomo li lon sewi kon' the whole grouping? In other words I think 'sewi pi tomo kon' would be more accurate (and specific), or just 'sewi tomo' which would be more grammatically correct then 'sewi pi tomo.'
Critique aside I love the world building and foundation work for a short session. The voice door working in space is BRILLIANT but as a puzzle I feel like unless established prior would be baffling to encounter. I'm already tossing in my head how to get my players in a head space open to translating alien tech and try this. I think I'd work in more opportunities to score sync as I feel players wouldn't get enough in time for the door puzzle.
Sorry if this comment is odd, this is my first time really commenting on itch and on any toki pona project. Great work and I hope you keep making things!
And then did not use either, figured it would be fine without clarifier – but left the pi. I remember thinking about it, and still leaving it in. My mistake! Should update it, good catch!
And thanks for the encouragement! I'm really excited by this idea, looking to keep honing it and expanding on it beyond this first encounter.

No worries, you are spot on! The pi is redundant.
I used to have it as
sewi pi tomo kon // sewi pi tomo ni
And then did not use either, figured it would be fine without clarifier – but left the pi. I remember thinking about it, and still leaving it in. My mistake! Should update it, good catch!
